2019 will be an exciting year. We will elect a new Mayor of Chicago and a new Alderman for the 47th Ward. As a Firefighter on the Chicago Fire Department and former Chicago Police Officer, I see firsthand some of the biggest problems in our city and I have the solutions. We need to elect true leaders who will stand up for the residents of Chicago. I look forward to your support in the upcoming election.

Meet Tom

I have lived in the ward for over ten years. During this time I have learned a lot about our community, the businesses, parks, and schools. I work here as a member of the Chicago Fire Department and formerly as a law enforcement officer. I’m part of numerous community organizations and have volunteered at Animal Care and Control, at street festivals, and community events.

Throughout my childhood, my parents instilled in me the value of hard work and dedication. That’s how I will approach the job of alderman for the 47th ward – with hard work and dedication. As a Chicago Firefighter I serve this community and the surrounding areas. I have witnessed firsthand the effort needed each and every day to keep our community strong. It’s the hard work that goes into keeping our city streets clean, our trees trimmed, our streets safe, and our schools strong. Every day I see the great things that our ward has to offer, but I also see areas which need improvement. Everything from potholes not being filled, to rising taxes, to the shortage of police and ambulances. As your alderman I will respond to the needs of our community and stand up for the residents of our ward. I will have transparency and will work with local groups, the city council, and city departments to improve city services and be the voice of the 47th ward. Please contact me anytime and tell me your concerns, ideas, and thoughts at
